# Final walkthrough

A last inspection shortly before closing to confirm the property’s condition and that agreed repairs were done.

The walkthrough verifies the home is in the condition the contract requires: agreed repairs completed, included items still present, and no new damage from moving out.

It is not a renegotiation opportunity in the general sense. It exists to confirm the agreed state. Problems found here are handled before funding, which is why it happens close to, but not on, closing day.
